Choose the goal

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
We increase the share of renewable fuels by using low‑emission equipment and expanding the use of renewable fuels. We use emission‑free electricity in our own properties in Finland.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
We promote safe working conditions both physically and mentally and pay special attention to vulnerable groups. Our goal is zero accidents and to reduce our total recordable injury frequency (TRIF) to below 17 by 2028. L&T has zero tolerance for forced labour, human trafficking and child labour. We support and respect human rights in all our operations.

SDG 10: Reduced inequalities
L&T aims to further develop its operating culture to be more diverse and equal. Our goal is to create a workplace where everyone can be themselves. We treat each other and our suppliers fairly. Gender does not influence pay at L&T. We conduct pay equity analyses in accordance with the Equality Act every two years, and these analyses have not identified any unjustified differences in pay between genders. L&T is a signatory to the FIBS Diversity Charter Finland.

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
L&T creates value for society and communities. The circular economy is realised through the business solutions we provide to our customers. We aim to mitigate climate change and be a leader in the circular economy. We replace fossil and natural materials with recycled raw materials, and our goal is to bring all human‑made materials back into circulation. The services we provide to our customers reduce emissions and promote the recycling of materials.

SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
L&T transforms waste into recyclable materials for new packaging and products. L&T's services increase the productive use of industrial side streams and contaminated land.

SDG 13: Climate Action
L&T aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2045. L&T’s climate commitments cover the entire value chain (Scopes 1, 2 and 3).

SDG 15: Life on Land
L&T aims to promote biodiversity together with its customers. We develop actions that have a positive impact on biodiversity, particularly in the built environment.
L&T remediates contaminated land across Finland. These areas are either returned for construction use, reducing pressure to take new land into use, or restored as natural habitats.
